چکیده
Ozone is a triatomic allotropic modification of oxygen with very high oxidation potential and strong antimicrobial properties, can be used as disinfecting agent. The aim this work was to investigate the effectiveness gaseous ozone in reducing number bacteria total biomass E. coli biofilm using different methods quantification detection. Biofilm all tested clinical isolates standard strain grown on ceramic tiles dimensions 1.0 × cm over 24 h. These plates were then treated for 1 After washing, CFU/cm2 determined, ATP bioluminescence measured luminometer, reduction after crystal-violet staining. Gaseous proved effective destroying created bacterial tiles. Treatment caused up 2.00 log10CFU/cm2, followed by 61.40%. Inhibition rates varied from 35.80% 99.41%, depending method used. All study are determining anti-biofilm activity ozone, but more research needed.

Antimicrobial Susceptibility Profile of Extended Spectrum β-Lactamase (ESBL) Producing Escherichia coli from Various Clinical Samples
BACKGROUND Extended spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) producing Escherichia coli has tremendously increased worldwide and it is one of the most common causes of morbidity and mortality associated with hospital-acquired infections. This could be attributed to association of multi drug resistance in ESBL producing isolates. The present study was aimed to determine the antimicrobial sensitivity profile ...
متن کاملAppendical Perforation by Infection with Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL)-Producing Escherichia coli: Case Report
We report the very rare case of a huge appendical abscess with extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) as the pathogen. There have been several reports of appendical infections such as appendicitis and appendical abscess caused by ESBL-producing bacteria in adults. The treatment of ESBL-producing E. coli infection is specific, and ESBL-producing bacteria hav...
متن کاملDetection of Plasmid-Borne β-Lactamase Genes in Extended- Spectrum β-Lactamase (ESBL) and Non-ESBL-Producing Escherichia coli Clinical Isolates
Increasing frequency of infections caused by antibiotic resistant Escherichia coli strains producing extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) needs to be addressed by continuous surveillance and accurate detection of specific ESBLs genes for more effective treatment. A total of 71 β-lactam drug resistant isolates (26 phenotypically ESBL-producing and 45 non-ESBLproducing) were observed to carry app...
متن کاملPrevalence of extended spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) producing E. coli and Klebsiella species in urinary isolates
Introduction: Bacterial resistance to β-lactam antibiotics has risen dramatically, with extended spectrum βlactamase (ESBL) contributing to this increase. Early identification of ESBL production is becoming increasingly important. Methodology: A total of 367 consecutive, urine samples from patients suspected to have UTI, were processed. All Escherichia coli and Klebsiella species isolated in si...

conclusions our data showed that, the high prevalence of beta-lactamase genes among isolates, and it. our findings may provide useful insights in replace of the appropriate antibiotics and it may also prevents of esbls, mediated resistance problem. results from 145 strains of e. coli, 51(35.2%) and 61(42.1%) isolates were resistance to ceftazidime and cefotaxime, respectively. esbl production w...
